Level Four Camps

Level Four Camps

In Level Four students have the opportunity to develop life skills as our carefully developed school camp program offers some exciting challenges and experiences. Students go on camp for four nights and five days, from Monday to Friday. One year the grade 5/6 students head off to Wilson’s Promontory where they experience the delights of camping in tents. This is a camp with an emphasis on outdoor activities, including bike riding, fishing, surfing, climbing Mt Oberon and science sessions with the Rangers who are based at the Prom.

On alternate years grade 5/6 students set off to Canberra to explore our National Capital. Here students gain invaluable insights into Australian Government and how our Parliamentary system works. We go on extensive tours of both the old and new Parliament House, and visit such places as the National Art Gallery, the National Science Museum, the Dinosaur Museum and the Australian Institute of Sport. On this camp the students stay in cabins. Our Level Four camp program is a highlight of the year for many students.
