Visual Arts
At Wandin Yallock, we value our students' artistic development highly. We encourage our students to be creative in all kinds of art, such as painting, drawing, pottery, crafts, any much more. Once a week students receive one-hour tuition learning the ins and outs of the Visual Arts from our art teacher Courtney Sharp.
Throughout the year, students engage in various expressions of Visual Art; from sculpture making through to painting using different mediums. During Term 4, all student work is placed on display at Mont de Lancey which is also opened to the public for our Annual Art Exhibition. This provides a sense of purpose and students love seeing all their hard work come to life, helping them to realize their potential as ‘real artists’.
